This site was built and is authored by myself, Mathew Byrne. I’m an Australian web developer/designer working and living in Melbourne Australia. I’ve own and run a boutique web development studio JB Interactive which has been in business since 2003.

The Site

This is my personal and professional play-ground for all things related to web design & development. Mostly I focus on topics I encounter working day to day, with a pragmatic approach to web development.

The Engine

The site is built on a custom blog engine written on top of the Zend Framework and mostly follows the conventions of other popular blog engines. It’s currently in it’s infancy, but I hope to release the code under some sort of open licence in the near future.
